Confirmation Statement — Only £39*
- Since 2016, the Confirmation Statement
has replaced the annual return, and filing it
correctly is a legal requirement for every UK
company director. - Companies House expects your
confirmation statement to be submitted on
time, in full, and without errors. While
there may be no formal late-filing penalties,
failing to submit your statement is a
criminal offence, and directors can be
personally fined for non-compliance. - Even more seriously, Companies House can begin action to strike your company off the register, putting your business at risk.
Your confirmation statement must contain the following information:
- Registered office address and shareholders
- your line of business (as expressed
in Standard Industry Classification
(SIC) codes) - the amount of share capital issued
- Who owns the shares
- officers within your business who
are considered a Person of
Significant Control (PSC)
